There are limited spaces for the horse shows
and they will fill up fast. There are only four to five ponies
and four to five horses available for each class. Whoever signs
up for a show first will have first pick of pony and class with
trainer approval.
Horse Show Costs
Meadowville Fees are due two weeks in advance. Horse show fees
can be paid on the day of the show. If a show is rained out, the
cost of the show will be refunded or it can be used as credit towards
another show.
Meadowville Fees
- Coaching Fee: $75
- Lease of Horse: $50
- Trailering: $.85 per mile one way
Fees to be paid at the show
- Ground Fee: $5 - $10
- Entry Fees: $6 - $10 per class / approx. $36 - $60 (3 classes
per division, 1-2 divisions, choice of participant)
- Schooling Fee: $6 - $10

Horse Show Checklist
- Helmet
- Collared polo shirt
- Breeches
- Riding boots (either tall or paddock)
- Black Crop
- Water Bottle
- Packed dinner or money for snack bar
At the show the kids will be responsible for their assigned pony,
making sure he or she is clean and ready on time. They are also
responsible for themselves and their attire, they must be properly
dressed and also ready on time.
Instructor must have a group of at least 5 students in order to
participate in any given horse show.

Mark Wonderly runs
a wonderful local circuit show at Morven Park located in Leesburg
, Virginia and Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia. Participants
are able to get a better feel of the horse show world.
Please Note: STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN
TRANSPORTATION TO THE SHOW —THEY ARE NOT PERMITTED TO TRAVEL
WITH INSTUCTOR

Horse Show Checklist
In these shows the riders are required to have;
- Helmet
- Long sleeve show shirt (girls-stand up collar, boys-tie)
- Riding jacket
- Black gloves
- Tan breeches
- Riding boots (either tall or paddock)
- Knee guarders (if wearing paddock boots)
- Black Crop
- Braids with bows or hairnet
- Water Bottle
- Packed dinner or money for snack bar
These shows will be a lot of fun for the riders and a great learning
experience.
Please Note: Students participating in Sunday shows are required
to come to Meadowville Farm to bathe the pony and prepare the
tack on the Saturday before the show.
Important
Notice
- Several camps are scheduled for the same week as a horse show,
however students are not required to attend
a camp in order to go to a show. A 10% discount on Meadowville
horse show fees will be given for students who participant in
a camp and the corresponding horse show.
